SoulCollage® offers an engaging way to listen to your inner voice as you discover ways to express yourself. Through creating collage cards using found images, you explore aspects of your soul. The cards are fascinating vehicles to uncover hidden parts of yourself – as well as creating cards for the support you find around you in your life. The process is based on Jungian thought, as well as spiritual practice.
This workshop will explore and express our inner child. We will look at several archetypes for our inner child, exploring the strengths and shadows of each. Creating cards for our inner child can assist our healing, and can be an important part of each soul’s journey.
No art experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome! Invite a friend to join you. All supplies and instructions are included. If you have attended past SoulCollage® workshops, please bring any cards you have created in the past.
Ruth Zwald, a SoulCollage® Facilitator, will teach the basics of SoulCollage® as she gently guides you into listening to your own soul.

Ruth is a retired social worker/minister, who makes her home on a farm in southwest Michigan. She is an avid gardener and with her partner, raises sheep and chickens. Leaning into the the cycles of the seasons, she watches the moon and never misses a solstice or equinox turning. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Ruth discovered SoulCollage® as a way to express the complicated feelings around her diagnosis and treatment. After one workshop, she was hooked. Ruth completed the Facilitator Training in the fall of 2016. She has been offering SoulCollage® workshops throughout West Michigan and in Chicago.
